I Found a Locked Safe in My Boyfriend's Basement

I’m packing my bags right now and my hands won't stop shaking. He comes home from his shift in 20 minutes and I need to leave immediately.
My boyfriend of two years is the sweetest, most normal guy ever. Today, a pipe burst in his basement, and I went down there to find the main water valve. While moving some storage boxes, I found a heavy digital floor safe hidden behind a old bookshelf. I tried a random code to open it—his birthday. It beeped and clicked open.
I thought it would be financial documents or old coins.
It was full of plastic Ziploc bags. Each bag was carefully labeled with a specific date. I picked one up. It was a used, unwashed plastic coffee cup I drank from at a cafe six months ago. Another bag had a piece of a torn ribbon I threw away last summer. The bottom bag was the worst. It was filled with hair pulled from my old hairbrush, tied together with a ribbon.
There were dozens of bags. He has been collecting my discarded trash since the day we met.
I just heard a car pull into the driveway. The garage door is opening. If I don't post an update later, something is very wrong.
