My gold-digging stepmother tried to charge me $600 a month in "room rent" to live in my late mother’s house, so I legally evicted her from the property instead.
My biological mother passed away three years ago and left our family home jointly to me and my dad. My dad, being a lonely idiot, remarried this absolute leech of a woman six months later. Ever since she moved in, she’s been trying to push me out.
Last week, my dad went on a business trip, and she handed me a printed "lease agreement" stating that since I am now 20, I need to pay her for my bedroom or move out.
I didn't argue. I just smiled, took the paper, and called my mother's estate lawyer. Because my mom's will explicitly stated that I own 50% of the property deed, and my dad signed a preнупtial agreement preventing him from transferring house ownership, my stepmother has zero legal rights to the estate.
Yesterday, I served her with official legal eviction papers for creating a hostile environment on a property she doesn't own. When she called my dad screaming, the lawyer informed him that if he tries to interfere, I will force a partition sale of the house and take my half of the cash. She’s currently packing her bags in tears.
