My MIL Secretly Chopped Off My Toddler’s Curls

My mother-in-law secretly took my 2-year-old daughter to a hair salon and cut off all her gorgeous, natural curls because she claimed curly hair looks "messy and un-businesslike."

She’s TWO years old\! She doesn't have a corporate job interview anytime soon\! It took two years for those beautiful ringlets to grow, and my MIL had her chopped into a blunt, uneven bob that looks horrible.

When I confronted her, she said, "I did you a favor, now people won't think you neglect her grooming." I threw her out of my house and banned her permanently. Now my husband is saying I'm overreacting and that "hair grows back." Am I crazy here, or is this a massive boundary violation?
