My boyfriend broke up with me today via a Venmo request. No text, no call, nothing. We had a stupid argument last night about where to eat, and I woke up this morning to a notification on my phone.
He sent me a request for $4.50 with the caption: "For the half of the chicken nuggets you ate from my plate last night. Also, we are done, I'm getting back with my ex. Don't contact me."
I declined the request, sent him a request for $150 for the gas money he owes me from our road trip last month, and blocked his number. I genuinely cannot believe I wasted eight months of my life on a man who monetized a breakup.
